A pretty controversial episode that sees Homer purchase a gun to "protect the family". Unfortunately Marge doesn't think it's as good of an idea as he does, and gives him the ultimatum of the gun or his family.
Featuring 'The Homega Man', 'Fly vs Fly' and 'Easy Bake Coven', this is the last Treehouse Of Horror from the golden age of The Simpsons. A bit of a mixed bag, but a really fun episode overall!

A truly underappreciated flashback episode that not only tells the story of how Lisa got her saxamophone, but also how Bart became the underachiever and proud of it.

TESTING! It's the finale of Season 8, what a ride it's been! Here we see Lisa and Bart join military school, which proves to be more than Lisa had bargained for. A very grounded story that caps off the season on a high note. This was the final episode of the Oakley/Weinstein era, next week we'll be entering the era of Scully!

Dando & Mitch return to review 'In Marge We Trust', an underrated episode that gives us a little more insight into the character of Reverend Timothy Lovejoy, and how he slowly "Stopped caring". Luckily it was the 80s and nobody noticed. Oh it's also got Mr Sparkle. Enjoy!

Homer (once again) realises he has a high threshold for pain, which Moe takes advantage of by convincing Homer to become a boxer so that he can be his manager. Things are going well until Drederick Tatum enters the equation.
Another great sport-based episode that gives us a new side of Moe, as well as some early signs of latter-seasons Homer (booooourns).

One of, if not the greatest episode of all time! 'You Only Move Twice' features the incredible one-time-only appearance of Hank Scorpio, the greatest supervillain of all time.
